Liebe Freunde unseres Vereins,
zum Jahresabschluß dürfen wir die beiden letzten Veranstaltungen des Krieger- und Soldatenvereins Trudering-Riem erwähnen.
Der Volkstrauertag verlief wie geplant, es gab keinerlei Probleme von der Aufstellung bis zum Aufbruch nach dem obligatorischen Frühschoppen. Wir bedanken uns bei allen Teilnehmern der eindrucksvollen Veranstaltung, ob als aktiver oder als Zuschauer. Ein besonderer Dank gebührt den Fahnenabordnungen der vielen Vereine.
Am Freitag, dem 18. Dezember wurde für die Vereinsmitglieder die jährliche Weihnachtsfeier im Pfarrsaal von St.Peter und Paul in Trudering veranstaltet. Neben der besinnlichen Gedichtlesung der Kameraden Kneißl und Maierhofer wurde kurze Ansprachen des Vorstands und des Ehrenmitglieds Geist.Rat Pfarrer Herbert Kellermann gehalten. Wie üblich folgte dann die Tombola, bei der es keine Nieten gab und die Gewinne alle mindestens dem Lospreis von 5 Euro entsprachen.
Für die viele Arbeit, die das Beschaffen der Gewinne erforderte, bedanken wir uns sehr bei unserem Kameraden Hans Hornung.
